Travel Agreement
We truly hope you will come with us. The following important information is valuable to you having a successful and pleasant tour. Read the material carefully and be guided by the suggestions and information provided. Signing this Agreement is pre-requisite to participation in tours sponsored by Evidence of Truth Ministries, Inc. After reading, (1) sign and date the Agreement, (2) make a copy for your future reference and files, (3) then mail the original to the address appearing above.
A Passport will be required in order to travel to Israel . If you do not have a Passport at this time, it is recommended that you immediately begin the procedure of obtaining one. This normally takes about three or four weeks, but may be accomplished in as few as two or three days. Once you receive your Passport, mail a photocopy of the first page (the page that includes your photo and government-issued information) to Evidence of Truth Ministries, Inc.
A detailed itinerary will be provided prior to departure. It, however, will be subject to change as opportunities may present themselves for participation in a spontaneous unexpected blessing. Our tour guide may suggest a side trip option to us in our travels that would allow us to consider adding a new and unanticipated event into our experiences.
Transportation Matters
Passports:
Be sure you have a valid Passport, and that its expiration date is not less than six (6) months after your return from Israel . Always keep a photocopy of your Passport in a safe place in the event the original is lost or stolen.
Air Transportation :
All trips depart from New York and arrive at the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel .
Transfers & Touring:

Safety:
Personal Management Topics
Electric Supply Warning:
In Israel the electric at ordinary wall outlets is 220 Volts and any appliance from the United States such as hair dryers, curling irons, razors will be instantly destroyed unless used with the following precautions. Electrical adapters will NOT protect your property as you MUST HAVE A TRANSFORMER or CONVERTER.
Note the following:
If you have a A travel appliance @ then you must remember to turn the switch from 110 volts to 220 volts AND THEN all you will need is an ordinary wall adapter for the plug.
If your appliance is only 110 volts you will need to bring a CONVERTER that is good to 1600 watts. It is suggested, however, that all 110 volt appliances remain Stateside.
Accommodations:
For the Missions Tour, accommodations are generally two persons per room with a private bath. However, if we stay at a facility such as the Finnish Mission House in Jerusalem , accommodations will be dormitory-style. For the Feast of Tabernacles Tour, all accommodations will be in Israel 's finest hotels. The tour price is based on accommodations of two people per room. If a private room is required there will be an additional fee (Approx. $210 for the tour) and is subject to availability. Such rooms are normally smaller that twin rooms.
Luggage:
Everyone will responsible for their own luggage and its security. Airport security may break open any locks if they desire to make a detailed inspection. Air carriers permit one carry-on and two suitcases. The weight limits are 18 pounds for the carry-on and 50 pounds for each suitcase. The size limit is (height + width + length) is 62 inches for one suitcase and 45 inches for the second. However, most visitors need only one carry-on and one suitcase for their personal items. Therefore, we might ask you to obtain a used suitcase at a thrift store so we can fill it with personal items to give to need people whom we personally know. In the past, guests have used the extra suitcase to bring gifts and souvenirs back home. More information on this will be available prior to our departure.
Meals:
Breakfast and evening meals are provided. Everyone is responsible for their lunch on their own unless otherwise noted. You will definitely want to try some ethnic foods such as the famous Falafal – hum hum.
Clothing:
Israel has five distinct climate zones. Since we will not be traveling to the top of Mount Hermon for snow skiing, we will be only in four zones. Dress light. Israel is comfy from April through early October. You might need a light jacket in the evenings and there is the possibility for refreshing October showers. There is never any rain in the summer. Bring a swimsuit if you desire to float in the Dead Sea or dip in the Sea of Galilee . Wear comfortable walking shoes. No shorts are permitted in holy sites and women are required to have shoulders covered (no sleeve-less blouses). It should be noted, however, that due to the 35% saltiness of the Dead Sea , one should not attempt to float in it if he/she has any open wounds, as this would be extremely painful. Otherwise, enjoy the fun.
